Well. That series seems interesting. The most "recent" epic drama I saw was the BBC TV production "Rome". The ironic fact about the scene below is that despite of the blood spill it made me drop some tears. That friendship like the one between Pullo and Vorenus is rare to see nowadays.
Gotta give it to mah nigga Pn2501 for getting me into this. Loved that first season, although drago should have whooped more ass. And heard more lamentations of the womens.
I hope the Dragon renderings won't be cartoony, and that some animatronics are used in scenes in which they are used...and I hope they'll be used sparingly, would'nt want this series to be ruined.

Right on. Up to this point the series hasn't had to rely on a lot of CGI, and the production values have remained high. However, poor CGI could have a very detrimental effect on what up to this point has been a very good series.
Also, Sean Bean was great; and the best thing about the series has been the character development. Far too often in fantasy the focus is on all the other-worldly elements. If you don't have good character development then great special effects aren't worth a damn.
Some of the behind the scenes clips show that CGI is actually heavily used in producing backgrounds such as large structures for the various castles. Courtyard scenes tend to have shots showing upper structures that are actually CGI.
